Mike Salmon alludes to potential difficulties with
ftp transfers between the USA and UK.

My own experiences with ftp and WWW are as follows.

No problems : Before 8.30 UK time, Weekends and UK Holidays
Normal working periods : Slow, Slower and Failure to even connect.

I assume this reflects activity on our LAN but my LAN manager refutes
this!

I would welcome comments from others in the hope that I can reopen
negotiations with the LAN manager and get things improved.

If you are UK based and only have E-mail facilities I can attatch
WinMDI to E-mails for you. This has already worked for others.

Terry Hoy.
