I would like to take issue with Nigel Blackhall that the above
mailing was ".....a serious waste of bandwidth".
All cytometry users must be concerned about cuts in research funding
in the USA. European research like myself have important
collaborations in the USA and any cuts in NIH funding are likely to
have a major impact on my work.

Furthermore, concerning the relevance to a cytometry mailing list -
I wonder whether there are any core facilities in the US which are
not dependent to at least a small part on NIH grants!
