Greetings Flow-ers,

Currently, we are in the process of making a direct comparison
between the relative merits of commercially available packages
for DNA cell-cycle analysis using the Mac platform. Our ultimate aim is
to purchase the optimum package for use in the analysis of DNA data
from Hoechst-stained human tumour samples, obtained using a B-D.
FACStar Plus. Thus far, we have obtained demo disks of ModFit-LT &
MacCycle-AV to play with, kindly provided by Verity Software & Phoenix
Flow respectively. The question is now: do any of you have useful
wisdom or experience with these, or any other (?) similar packages,
obtained in the course of long-term use, which you would care to pass
on?

Many thanks,

Huw S. ("Zip") Kruger Gray, Ph.D.
