Goods morning,

I am chairman of the ISAC committee which is reviewing and updating
the FCS data file standards. We, as a committee, are discussing the
need to accommodate listmode files which are larger than 99,999,999
bytes.

About a year ago, on this newsgroup, there were several messages from
labs that had run into problems because of this limitation. I would
like to know the extent of the problem. If you have any personal
experience with these large data files please respond to:

larry@athena.unm.edu

Thank you for your input.
