Yes, sounds tempting dosen't it? A few caveats;

- Iomega has not announced plans to let others source the media which is
perceived as a "bad thing" (how much are people paying for their 20Mb
Bernoullis now? :-)

- Neither will they say how the drive "works", but the media is
*probably* not as robust as MO

- They are introducing 200Mb media and (I think) a new drive in the 3rd Q
of this year, but will *not* confirm whether the current drives will work
with 200Mb media - seems unlikely.

- The SCSI version is said to work like a slow hard disk (much like MO
drives I think) and the parallel version is 2-5 times slower, but if
portability is an issue .......

ongoing debate as to just how wonderful they are in the usenet group
comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware.storage .....

I would think though that unless portability is a priority, it's maybe
better to fork out for a 230 Mb MO drive (~$550 and falling, media <$30).
