Hello all,

FYI: The WWW page at TSRI now has the Rs calculation
to help investigators "guesstimate" how long it will take to
do their sorts by using the web server instead of calling on the
phone (whew!). The calculation is the standard one much discussed,
and the page lets you "plug in" numbers to get a faily reasonable
prediction of what is going to happen on our instruments (and yours?).
As Steve Ziganti mentioned the other day, you can setup Excel or
other applications to do this easily too - I just thought is was
nice to have it on the net so off-site users could use it. The
main idea was to cut down on a lot of the phone calls.

Cheers and "fast" sorting to all,

Joe
