Re: removal of IgG from fc receptors

Jim:

We have tried with occasional success lowering the pH to around 3
with HCl added to balanced salt solution. The IgG should in principle
dissociate from a type II receptor (for aggregated IgGs) under these
conditions. I am at home currently and don't have access to my methods
books but I think I got this procedure from the Cold Spring Harbor
Antibody Manual.
