Since there seems to be a continuing interest in the problems of high speed
sorting, you might find a recent book chapter I wrote on the subject helpful.
It's chapter 20 (pp. 331-358) in Methods in Cell Biology vol. 42, 1994.
I tried to share my experiences of working in this area over the past 14
years. I tried to provide both theoretical and very practical advice on
the subject...
