On our FACStarPLUS we have a Coherent 90-5. It's an older laser design
(not quite the controls as on current models), but very solid.

We've used 150 mW of uv for indo-1; this power output draws 36.5A and has
increased only 0.5A in three years (it's used in uv about 3 times a
week). The FACStar is, of course, a jet-in-air system. A system with a
cuvette will require less power.

With Hoechst, we get good resolution (cv's on thymic cells can
be less than 3%).
