I was wondering what the "absolute" CV of fluorescent microspheres might
be? When we employ beads for alignment using flow cytometry, we measure a
population CV (pulse height or integral) which presumably reflects a
combination of the intrinsic error of the instrument as well as the error
inherent to the beads themselves. Does anyone have any ideas as to the
relative contributions of each of these factors to the measured CVs? What's
the lowest CV anyone has obtained with fluorescent microspheres?
