We (Molecular Probes) have developed an alternative technology for
antibody labeling (Zenon labeling) that allows one to make fluorescent
complexes of mouse monoclonals and rabbit polyclonals with a wide
variety of dyes, including our tandem dyes. This can be particularly
useful if the direct conjugates are not available but the primary
antibody is available.

It is described here:

http://www.probes.com/handbook/print/0702.html

and we will very soon (a week or so) have available Zenon kits for mouse
IgG2a and mouse IgG2b antibodies (the rabbit antibody Zenon kits are
already available).
