Hi Simon, I've seen others use a Molecular Probes dye that they refer to as 'cell tracker orange.' This I believe is excited by 488 and emits into FL2. I've not tried it myself. I've used an FL2 dye called BODIPY red, which labels quite well and tracks divisions, but unfortunately like Snarf (which I haven't tried either), it drastically affected the function/viability of my cells at the concentrations used by other investigators (i.e., I didn't titer it). I can dig up a cell tracker orange paper if you need me to. Andrew -- Andrew D.
