length of storage of fix cells

Hello list ,we have an investigator who wants to store cells for a time.
The protocol would involve ,staining with MOAB , 1% paraformaldehyde
fixation,
,wash and then fix with ETOH and stain with PI.
Does anyone have any experience as to how long these cells can be stored
or an alternative protocol.
