Hi John,

I've been using this method a lot recently for S-phase determination in T-cell
lines. It's quick, cheap and gives quite a clean prep.

1. Wash & spin cells in PBS or HBSS
2. Resuspend in 2ml absolute ethanol for 1 hour at 4 degrees
3. Wash and resuspend in PBS/HBSS with 10ug/ml RNAse A and 50ug/ml PI. Leave at
room temperature in the dark for 30 minutes.

Good luck

Dave
