Position in Flow and Image Cytometry at Wyeth Research

Greetings everyone:

Due to the expansion of the Flow and Image Cytometry lab, the Department of Immunology
and
Musculoskeletal Sciences at Wyeth / Genetics Institute is seeking an individual
with extensive experience in flow cytometry and high speed cell sorting.  The major
responsibilities are to provide flow cytometry analysis and high speed cell sorting
services for the research groups in our Cambridge facility. The facility consists of
two high-speed MoFlo flow cytometers, four BD FACS analyzers, confocal microscopy and a
laser scanning cytometer.  Requirements include demonstrated proficiency in cell sorting
and flow cytometry, working knowledge of Windows NT/2000, Macintosh platforms and flow
cytometry related software packages, statistical analysis and a strong Cell Biology /
Immunology background.  Additional experience with Cytomation instrumentation, cell
culture, image analysis, laser scanning cytometry and confocal microscopy is desirable.

Essential attributes are flexibility, the ability to multi-task and work as part of
a team, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.  Candidate should
have BS / MS in Biology / Immunology or related discipline with minimum 3-5 years
relevant experience.
