"Hepatic lymphocytes were isolated by a method described elsewhere (17).
The liver was removed and cut in two pieces, one half was passed through
200-gauge steel mesh, and then suspended in RPMI medium with 5% of heat
inactivated calf serum. Once the cells washed, the lymphocytes were
isolated by a gradient of Percoll (35% Percoll containing 100U/ml
heparin, Sigma, St. Louis). Purified lymphocytes were washed three times
before culture."
