The following position is currently available: Flow Cytometry Core Facility Manager Princeton University Princeton University, Department of Molecular Biology, is seeking a flow cytometry specialist to manage the Flow Cytometry Core Facility. The position requires a B.S. or M.S. with several years of flow cytometric experience. Proficiency in multilaser, multiparametric analysis and cell sorting, DNA cell cycle analysis and functional assays preferred. Responsibilities include operation and maintenance of instrumentation, administrative duties, instruction of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and faculty with new applications, experimental design, data interpretation and generation of flow cytometric data for publication. Current instrumentation includes a BD FACS Vantage SE with Turbo Sort II, BD 4-color FACScan and a BD 4-color FACSort. Planned upgrades include the addition of the FACS DiVA digital acquisition platform for the FACS Vantage SE. Knowledge of and experience in use of some of the above instrumentation required but professional training on BD instruments is available. Compensation commensurate with education and experience.
