For all those who gave me suggestions for the 6 colour combination .....
thankyou.

After checking a few sources of APC-Cy7 and switching around PMTs we were
able to get a very bright signal (>2 log shift) which is more what was
expected. Also Alexa 350 gave a poor (0.5 log shift) with the UV, but this
was expected from what people were saying ..... this may not be used in the
future.

The combination we plan to work with are:

FITC PE ECD PE-Cy7 APC APC-Cy7 .....this still gives us the
opportunity to play around with UV fluorochromes.

Now is the next question......we need an anti-Rat IgG in one of the less
common colours (APC-Cy7, PE-Cy7 or PerCP5.5). Does anybody know of a good
source ??
