Dear J. Paul Dear Zbigniew, and dear Flowers First point : I read all your comments and I agree that the best solution is to educate has "Rafael Nunez" said "we should improve the training in flow Cytometry instead of playing some kind of "super flow-guru" and concentratingthe knowledge in a few lucky guys". Second point: I totally agree with your proposal on about the instruction to the authors. Spencer Brown and myself have always been estonish by the Bad quality of the presentations. But, also so many errors which come from the reviewers... because they are not alway qualified to look carefully at the flow histogram presentations. It is also clear that this document should be adressed to many other journals in order to setbetter flow cytometry presentations. It is to often that we cannot see the baseline for exemple or the zero point in a cross axis for exemple. Very often also curves resumed the flow data and we have no explanation on how they have been acquired (gates, number of events, threshold etc...). Third point: I have the perfect exemple of a situation where all ("I say all" and not only american) flow cytometrists can participate to the elaboration of a page or two flier - instruction s to the authors.
