Julie Moore University of Georgia Postdoctoral Position Immunology of Malaria During Pregnancy NIH-funded position available to study cell-mediated immune mechanisms involved in protection and pathogenesis of placental malaria, with a focus on development and maintenance of T cell memory. This position will provide a unique opportunity to interact with a multidisciplinary, multicenter team of scientists in the U.S. and overseas working together on various aspects of the immunology, epidemiology, parasitology, and molecular biology of malaria. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong laboratory background in immunology and molecular biology, preferably with at least one to two years of postdoctoral research completed and some supervisory experience. Previous work in a malarious area is a plus. Must be willing to spend up to nine months each year working in Kenya.
