Dear Jaime,
I am using WinMDI 2.7 and have no problem opening CellQuest
data files.

The process here is thus:
-Data collected on the CellQuest computer is copied over the
  network to a UNIX server.
-I copy the data from the server to my PC.
-I run WinMDI and analyse the data on my PC.

My current PC is Windows NT, but exactly the same sequence
was used with Windows 95 and Windows 3.11, and with many
earlier versions of WinMDI.

No conversion is necessary for this to work.
The only "conversion" done in our system is to restore the
Macintosh type and creator tags in the UNIX system, without
that CellQuest will not open the files; this only affects
CellQuest, and has no effect on a PC or WinMDI, nor on
other Macintosh programs.

What is your conversion program, and what does it do?

Regards, Joseph.
