Dear cytometrists (aka "flowers") I have been storing some treasured pieces of antiquity for some time now. Alas, I can no longer do this so I have to give them up. 1. Coherent Innova-90 5 watt laser (488 nm; 5500 hours; zero time in UV mode) - has not been fired up for years - it used to be sweet. Price = FREE to the person who creates the least hassle in acquiring it (clearly this is a shipping nightmare!). It would be a shame to put it in the land fill, although it could be an interesting find for archeologists in the year 3001. 2. HP console 340 system with HP RGB monitor and working Paintjet printer - Price and terms are identical to item 1. This has not been fired up in the new millenium - so I believe there are some issues with Y2K compliance. I have not way to safely package these items for transportation - so perhaps interested parties within striking distance of UC Davis could arrange to pick them up - other suggestions welcome. I hope someone has a need for these (even for parts to keep a "loved one" running) and that we can arrange to transfer the equipment with minimal fuss. Cheers Peter Moore
