Using dendritic cells to produce monoclonals

 Hi everyone,
I have been told that transfecting dendritic cells with the requitite
antigen, and then injecting into animals may be a good way to produce
monoclonal antibodies. Has anyone here done this? I would appreciate any
references, suggestions, etc.
For e.g. would bone marrow derived DC's or splenic DC's work better?
Do the DC's have to be induced to mature with LPS or TNF? What
immunization protocol is best?

  Thanks for any help,
Meenakshi Roy
