Sorting the rat Y chromosome

Hi,

I was planning to try and sort the rat Y chromosome. However in the
literature there is only the
mention of mouse and human Y sorting. Has anyone in the list attempted
sorting either mouse or
human Y chromosomes and could they give me some advice on the best way to
attempt this in the rat?
