sun microsystems has at their site at better office suite than the office suite available from "microhorrow". The sun.com free office suite includes a wordprocess, a math package, a presentation package and a spread sheet. and is called staroffice 5.2 which can be downloaded and used free. Besides being better than the one that costs so much, the suit has a great math package, is as near as i can tell compatible with the files of "microhorrow" so why pay for what is better for free. The great advantage to the staroffice 5.2 is that it runs on linux as well as M.Windows(their trade mark acknowledged) and I am told will soon also run on the mac.. and is programmable in java. It might be very easy to use it on BD because of its stability and java smartness..? I really like its graph packages. sterling At 02:02 PM 3/29/01 -0500, Margaret Tropea wrote: > >Hi All, > >I know that this is a relatively old string but when I mentioned this to >our BD sales rep she told me the conflict was with Office Manager and it >was something BD was working on. > >Margaret > > >>Hi Randy, >> >>It could be that there's a conflict in your desktop file - I really don't >>know if it'll help, but it won't hurt to rebuild your desktop. There will always be a need for the trained clinician (MD/RN) but, advanced diagnostic and treatment option selection has become gene based, has moved from the physician's practice to the computerized cell and molecular biology laboratory, and appropriate treatment options should now be based on the personal biology of the patient.
