Fourier Transform Flow

      Fellow Flow-ers,
         What is 'Fourier Transform' Flow
 Cytometry?
         Specifically in regards to a ratio
 between the yellow and red emmisions of a lipid
 dye called Nile Red.
         And generally, Is it done in hardware
 or can it be done in software. Can it be done
 after the fact or only in real time? Thanks for
 any assistance.
