b220+IgM- in mouse spleen

  Most likely these cells are activated gd T cells.  (Did you observe
this in response to infection?)  In my previous lab we determined
B220 to be an activation marker on gd T cells.  This occurred in any
strain of mouse.

We are seeing an increase of a B220+ IgM- population in the spleen of our
knock out mice. Are there any appropriate markers for mice to determine if
these are mature or immature B cells?

Would any of the following be appropriate?
CD2 (LFA-2)
IgD
CD80 (B7-1)
CD86 (B7-2)
