primate CD3 antibody - conclusion

Just wanted to say a big thanks to the multitudes that have responded to my
question about anti-CD3. The big "winner" (in terms of number of
recommendations) by far was the FN-18 clone from Biosource. I had actually
tried that antibody in the past with decent staining for rhesus but lousy
staining for cynos - but that was with a "home-made" CD3-Cy5 conjugate. The
FITC version that was recommended may give better results.

I did hear from a number of people that Pharmingen is having trouble with
the PerCP conjugation of SP34, not the SP34 itself - so we will probably try
ordering some of that in a different "flavor" and fit it around our needs,
based on my previous luck with FN-18. It sounds as though Diatec also has a
potential clone which may be of use.

Again, many thanks to all who replied!

Sincerely,
Doug
