My guess is that it isn't the computer's bios at all. the problem is that HPCOPY(which I've never used) probably checks to see how much space is available. well the computer returns this massive number of 12,000 MB or even 12,000,000 Bytes... the program chokes make a smaller partition to put the data on initially, then move it off. I've seen this with other old programs, that were written pre gigabyte/100's of megabytes of drive space.
