You may want to visit Intech's web page (http://www.intechusa.com/). They make drivers for just about any CD-R(W) drive that's available. Presumably, you can buy drives for PCs to install in your machine and their driver will support it. Does your Mac have an IDE bus with a position available (i.e. slave)? If so, you can get a CD-RW on the cheap (<$100). Of course, you will need to have appropriate software to write to the drive (e.g. Adaptec's Toast). I havn't used Intech's CD-RW driver, but I am using their hard disk driver to run a PC LS-120 drive in my G4 and have not had any problems with it.
