David,
If I understand you well, in order to be able to use the KJ1-26, we
would have to cross TCRa and TCRb mice first? I.e. if we'd just ordered
TCRb mice for example, we would not see any staining with the KJ1-26?

I would check both alpha and beta expression.  We just had an incident with
Jackson and the OT-I CD8 Tg mice.  The OT-I mice Jackson had been sending
out do not express the Tg alpha chain, only the beta chain.  Jackson types
the mice using Vbeta expression only, so they did not notice the mistake.
The KJ26 should see only the combination of the Tg alpha and beta though.
