CD45 dims - really Basophills?

more on CD45:

the cells in our tubes are NOT basophils,
simple math - if you take 2 tubes:

cd3/cd19
cd3/16+56

you will know how many B,T and NK cells you have in your light
scatter gate (or ssc/45)

B+T+NK=100% lymphs (more less)

thus the -/- cells in tube 1 should be approx. the number of NK
cells,
and the -/- cells in tube 2 should be approx. the number of B cells.

knowing the CD19 and 16/56+ populations I can check -/- from tube 2
vs. my CD19+ cells and vice versa with CD16/56. If the numbers match,
can I say that all my lymphocytes are accounted for ?

UNLESS basophils express CD3??

Therefore, in a tube that has 40% dim CD3's but has B,T and NK cells
add up to around a 100, there cannot be 40% basophils. Something else
is causing the dimness in CD45.

Does this make sense to anyone?

PS
I will update my site soon - been too busy with med school
applications. Thanks again to all of you who took time to correspond.
