It seems I remember a recent thread about software systems to facilitate
monitoring biological samples frozen in liquid nitrogen containers. Well, I
just read an article in the current issue of BioTechniques (Vol. 29, No. 1 July
2000) which completely describes just such a system. Searching of vials,
information retrieval, and vial info importation are a few of the capabilities
of the program. And to top it all off, the program will be licensed free to any
academic laboratory that requests it. Email requests to:
