Hi  Warren,

In addition to the comments below, I'd just like to mention that  we also
see this problem occasionally.   We have to use a  threhlod FSC value of
200 to be able to do any time delay calibration at all  with the APC beads.
In addition, whenever this problem occurs now, it is usually because there
is a problem with the FACS buffers reservoirs/tubings: either the caps is
not on or there is an air bubble in the tubings etc.  We seem to get around
this well by ensuring the cap is on nice and tight and doing a couple of
primings.
