Hello,
We have been trying to use JC1 to stain sperm for mitochondrial
function. We are having very inconsistent results with it--the green
always stains and always shows a slight shift in intensity between
dead/live sperm, but the orange is inconsistent. We are compensating
for the green overlap into the orange pmt, but we often do not get any
difference in intensity of the orange between the dead and live sperm.
Does anyone have any suggestions, hints, or a good working protocol
for using this dye? Thank you very much!
