You definitely need to get a new interface card for the Mac. The ones that go into Quadras are Nubus devices, and the PowerMacs use a PCI bus. So the old card will not even physically fit. If you are interfacing a Facstar Plus, you should talk to BD about it, because at least in the past, CellQuest did not support the FSP directly and when we did it we needed mods to the FSP to make it think it was a Vantage. The upgrade from Quadra to PowerMac is **well worth** doing. Everything is so much more responsive with the faster computer! You will wish you had done it a long time ago!!
