It is unclear to me just what you are using 7-AAD for, much less the vague "PE." During the recent discussion about the difficulties of using CFSE on human lymphoid cells, I already described using 7-AAD to discriminate live from dead cells. I encountered no problems in separating the emission of 7-AAD from that of CFSE. People also described how to discern CFSE from PE emissions.
