I agree! We have looked at simple light microscopy, and 
have been able to identify apoptotic morphology, though 
these are likely to represent cells in late(r) apoptosis 
(we presume?). Fluoresence microscopy would be ideal, 
but unfortunately, we are somewhat limited in access to 
this. We may well try to have a look, if we can.
