Janet, thanks for your reply. The cells that become immediately necrotic - would they not also be expected to take up AV, at least in the earlier stages of necrosis? Or is it different in some way? Are the cells so necrotivc immediately, and the cell membranes so disrupted, that there is no AV binding? Finally, do you have any references r.e. this from Beckman Coulter, as it would be nice to be able to get some more information on this subject. Thanks very much for your help.
