BD Omnicomp upgrade

Does anyone recommend the BD Omnicomp (interbeam compensation unit) for the
FACS Vantage?  I'm in the position to acquire more equipment for our Vantage
and could use some recommendations, yay or nay.

I would imagine it would be absolutely necessary when using the new tandem
dyes that are becoming available (PerCP-Cy5.5 = TruRed,  APC-Cy7 = PharRed
or PE-Cy5.  

What do you think?
