Dera flow users: I am working on a Calibur equivalent which was upgraded from 1-laser FACSort. The concept of "time delay calibration" is not very clear to me. And I do run into problems of not being able to have consistent success of time-delay calibration. I am wondering if it is appropriate to run 4-color samples with about 50% of the success rate of time-delay calibration. Should we make sure we have consistent success rate of time-delay calibration before running samples? Can someone enlighten me in this aspect or point me to some references? Thanks. It is especially puzzling since I can adjust time-delay knob to see if the signals from 2nd laser are processed properly on FACStar plus. What is the difference between Calibur and FACStar plus in handling time delay? Regards, Fang-Yao Stephen Hou
