Sorting and room temperature

Hi Everyone,

I seem to remember a number of years ago, that the room temerature
adversely affected the FACScan's ability to operate....I haven't noticed
such an affect with the FACsort I now use...perhaps the heat fluctuations we
experienced while our bldg was being renovated didn't affect *that*
particular room as much...at least when *I* was using the FACSort.

Today it was 83 degrees F. (and probably warmer as my Vantage is in a back
corner of the room) and I had a horrible time trying to get stabilized
streams or a reasonable drop delay. Was it me or the room temp?

Thanks!

Tricia
