We have used an Enterprise II-621 (488nm/UV) since feb 1997. We had many problems within the warranty period: First the power meter 488/UV beam splitter fogged over (this was repaired on site), then we lost UV power (this is no longer repairable on site and we needed a complete new head), then finally there was a power supply problem (also no longer repaired on site so we needed a complete new power supply). So, like George Washington's axe, after one new handle and one new head, there's not much left of the original system. However it has been reliable since mid-1998. As far as stability is concerned, it seems pretty good except that I have suspected there to be an angular drift of the UV relative to the 488 beam in the few hours after switch-on each day. Not sure if this is likely theoretically and haven't been bothered to test it systematically. Frank.
