A postdoctoral position is available immediately within the Laboratory of Allergic Diseases/NIAID/NIH to study the role of regulatory T cells in the induction and maintenance of immunological tolerance to allergens. Other ongoing work involves the clinical application of these strategies to asthma. A Ph.D. and/or M.D. is required and a background in cellular immunology is preferable.
