While such advertising may be of questionable integrity on Cytomation's part, isn't it about time someone slung a little mud in the other direction? I have had sales reps, from a certain company, lie right to my face about the capabilities of their instruments and the limitations of MoFlo. IMHO, it seems more lacking in integrity and intelligence to tell me that my MoFlo cannot sort >20,000 cells/sec, because that violates the laws of physics. Especially lacking when one considers that I ROUTINELY sort at >30,000 cells/sec with >95% purity and >75% recovery (on a variety of cell types). I'm not the only one verifying these numbers.... Anyhow, I don't mean to flame anyone. I just thought this needed said. As far as digital electronics go, I'm no expert. Mario is probably right that DiVa and MoFlo electronics perform similarly (and he can test this). I guess I just don't feel comfortable always doing impossible sorts!
