Dear Collegues, we have got a sample from our dermatology dept. from a 80 year old female with mild erythrodermia and skin infiltration. She presents for the first time with out preceeding mycosis fungoides. Pathologists don´t want to say MF. WBC 15,000/µl, RBC 3.7, PLT 161.000/µl, Lymph: 12,600, 97% T-cells. Phenotype: CD4+ CD7- CD3+ but reduced density, others as expected (CD2, CD5, CD45, TCR aß). Morphology: mostly that of quiescent lymphocytes (regular size, smal rim, dense chromatin). A few have a central gyrus but not very pronounced. No flower like cells. Any suggestions to solve the subdiagnosis of T-NHL? In case, please reply directly to my e-mail adress.
