If you go to http://www.cyto.purdue.edu/flowcyt/educate.htm you will find a large range of educational material that I have put together over the years. In the CD-ROM sections you will also find some nice video clips of dropplet break off, etc. There are tons of cartoons of how flow systems work. We are in the process of redoing our entire web site which will end up having over 2 gigabytes of educational material - readily available. It is almost ready to go up.
