Don't know about an antibody, but I remember the very early work on cell surface labelling in 1980 to be the use of tagged insulin which might also be of interest. LECTIN AND INSULIN BINDING TO CELL-SURFACES OF DIFFERENT LYMPHOMA STRAINS, AS STUDIED BY FLOW CYTOFLUOROMETRY MANSKE W, SAUER A, BOHN B HOPPE-SEYLERS ZEITSCHRIFT FUR PHYSIOLOGISCHE CHEMIE 361: (3) 299-300 1980 Would be interesting to find out about Burkard Bohn's whereabouts. Just listening to a CD of modern Christmas songs it makes me think of his piano-skills which I still have a lively memory of. He had an excellent talent to take any Christmas song through its paces to any musical style. So if anyone knows - please drop me a line. Should no other opportunity arise I would already like to wish everyone a peaceful Christmas time and a healthy and happy 2001 and thank the crew at Purdue for their services to cytometry. He is interested, of course, in conjugated reagents if they exist and would be interested in finding out also if they cross-react with other species of Insulin. Thank you in advance for your help.
