Hello Alberto,

look at the following Web side:
http://www.molbio.princeton.edu/facility/flowcyt/cytometers.html

the people at the FLOW CYTOMETRY CORE FACILITY (Andrew Beavis, Manager Tel:
(609) 258 1695 Fax: (609) 258 5323 Abeavis@molbio.princeton.edu)
use a 4 Color FACScan with FITC,PE, PECy5 (Cychrome) or PE-APC and PE-Cy7
for FL4.
The Four-colour FACScan is a custom product from Becton-Dickinson
Immunocytometry Systems.

I asked my local Becton-Dickinson sales person here in Germany for this
option to upgrade our FACScan, but he told me that this option has no CE
Sign and so it will not available in europe.

Sometimes it seems to me that Becton-Dickinson have a lot of options for
the Cytometers, but
they want to sell it only to selected peolpe.

I think a modification for a Calibure is easier and you need some new
dicroic mirrors and filters.
The best source for filters are the two companies in Brattleboro, Vermont
Omega Optical, Inc.
( http://www.omegafilters.com/products/fluorescence/fforf.html ) and Chroma
( http://www.chroma.com/ )

This companies make custom filters for a good price.

I hope this will help you, please ask the people at princeton foe details.

With best wishes

             Christoph Goettlinger
