I concur with Olindo here . . . taking a purist's view, any events in a histogram detected above a designated cut-off should be counted as "positive." Whether one ultimately includes the "low" events in their reported result is a question for the interpretation of data, and should not effect the technical procedure for collecting that data (lest we introduce a bias).
